Combined door and access ramp

The invention provides an access apparatus for an access structure. The access apparatus comprises a ramp 4 operable to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration, and a door 6 operable to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration, wherein when the door 6 and the ramp 4 are both in the closed configuration, the door 6 is adapted to prevent the ramp 4 from being opened.
