Reinforced roof for a vehicle

The roof (10) has a roof structure (12) made up of plastic material and susceptible to receive a roof panel (14) having a transparent or translucid part. A longitudinal rail (18) is molded in the roof structure to receive bars of a transversal roof that is utilized for transporting cumbersome objects. The rail is equipped with sealing joints (20).
