Wheel rim

The wheel has a rim (1a) with a deep bed (6) and a breakout area (7) that is formed between the bed and a rim hub (5). The area is formed from a material e.g. plastic, having lower density compared to a wheel material. The area has an insert ring consisting of two identical partial rings, and two elastic guides are formed at front faces of the area, where the faces are connected in an area of a cut-off point by using a clip-connection.
