Source
The device has a brake circuit controlled by a brake pedal, and another circuit with a pump that is controlled by a computer (C), and a pedal travel simulation mechanism (40). The mechanism has a solenoid valve that is mounted in a pipe connected to a hydraulic fluid storage chamber and controlled by the computer to allow brake fluid to flow towards the chamber when the latter circuit is active and a driver presses the pedal.
