Hydraulic braking system for motor vehicles
DRIVE
December 17, 2003
The system has a working brake operated by remote force, a muscle power operated auxiliary brake, a main brake cylinder operated by a brake pedal and connected to a main cylinder brake circuit via a first isolating valve and to a pedal displacement simulator with a simulator piston, a valve arrangement for pressure modulation in the wheel brakes and a device controlled by a controller that hydraulically shuts off the pedal displacement simulator. The system has a working brake operated by remote force and an auxiliary brake operated by muscle power, a main brake cylinder (34) operated by a brake pedal (36) and connected to a main cylinder brake circuit via a first isolating valve (82) and to a pedal displacement simulator (46) with a simulator piston (76), a valve arrangement for pressure modulation in the wheel brakes (16,18,20,22) and a device controlled by a controller that hydraulically shuts off the pedal displacement simulator.
