Vehicle seat

The seat has a seat surface (1) and backrest which can be independently adjusted in their length and width. The front region of the seat surface is divided into several separate upholstery parts (6), and the back-resting surface of the backrest is similarly divided into separate upholstery parts (4). All these parts can be adjusted independently in two dimensions.
