Seat (10) comprises a seat part (11) provided with a sitting surface (12) and a backrest (14). The upper end region (15) of the backrest has a headrest region (K) with an upholstered surface. The headrest region has a hollow (H) that takes into account at least partly the space required by the rear region and the two side regions of a passenger's head. Preferred Features: The back of the hollow is formed by a rear headrest region (17) that supports the rear surface of the passenger's head.
