Passenger airbag modul

The system is assembled of the airbag (4), a diffusor (2), the gas generator (3), and a holding element (1) to be positioned between the housing and the self-supporting airbag (4). The holding element (1) and the diffusor (2) are joined in a first step with flanges (1a, 2a) alongside both parts (1, 2) touching and bolts (9) protruding from the corners of the diffusor (2) entering openings located at the holding element (1). The unit (1, 2) is inserted into a loop (5) at the airbag (4) and the gas generator (3) accommodated in the space between the holding element (1) and the diffusor (2).
