The device has a set of blades (2) in which one of the blades has a LED (22). Each blade is moving between two positions around an axis parallel to the blade to define three types of environments such as low blind with the blades perpendicular to direction of a glazed panel of a roof of a vehicle, high blind with the blades parallel to direction of the panel, and environment in which a passenger compartment is illuminated with the LED. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle with a roof that has a blind device including a set of blades.
