Device and method for determining an acceleration independent inclination angle

The device includes a tilt angle sensor and a speed sensor to record the tilt angle and instantaneous speed of the object, respectively. The computer determines the instantaneous acceleration of the object using the instantaneous speed, for determining pitch angle of recorded tilt angle caused by instantaneous acceleration of object, in order to compute acceleration independent tilt angle. An independent claim is also included for method for determining tilt angle of mobile object.
