Height-adjustable table comprises a horizontal table top, a mounting unit (3), and at least one height-adjustable leg. The mounting unit has a pivot lever (7), and a first and second pivot bearing (8, 9) having a first and second pivot axis (10, 11). In the mounted state the mounting unit is pivotably connected via the first pivot bearing to a support component and via the second pivot bearing to the table top. The two pivot axes are arranged in parallel a pivot radius apart. The adjustment of the table between an upper and a lower position is connected to a pivoting movement of the pivot lever. The mounting unit has an energy-storing device (12) connected at one end to the pivot lever and at the other end to the support component. The energy-storing device is arranged and designed so that it produces over the entire pivot region of the pivot lever a turning moment on the pivot lever acting against lowering of the table. An Independent claim is also included for a mounting unit for the above table.
