Locking device for containers on a vehicle chassis

The device can be locked as required either with a latch (5) to be inserted from the front into the lock at the container or with a rotating bolt inserted from below. The housing accommodates a rotary bearing holding the pivot and a longitudinal bore for the accommodation of the latch (5). Both elements (5) can be simultaneously moved by a lever (1) rotating around a bearing (3) parallel positioned to the bearing of the pivot. The lever (1) is connected with a swivel joint (13) to the latch (5) and with a tappet (4) to the pivot.
