Tensioning device for an anti-skid chain

The tensioning system for snow chains on tires comprises a spring-loaded reel (18), to which a tensioning cable (11) for the chains is attached. This has a brake (36) which is operated by a lever (35). A second reel (17) carries a second cable (10) which can be pulled out in the opposite direction.
