DRIVE February 1, 2006
Source
The windscreen wiper consists of a blade (24) pivoted about a transverse axis (T1) on the end of the wiper arm (22) by means of a connector (42) engaging with a U-shaped end (38) of the arm, and an elastically-deformable locking element (60) to hold it in place. It also incorporates a safety clasp in the form of a cap on the end of the wiper arm that can be closed by rotating it about an axis (V1) to prevent the locking element from coming open accidentally.
