Device for transmitting sound

The sound transfer duct for a motor vehicle connects the engine inlet of the vehicle with the passenger space and consists of a membrane (13) or bulb fitting into an opening (13) in the air filter housing (10). The membrane is connected to the vehicle passenger space by a noise transfer guide duct. The membrane remains sealed during operation of the vehicle engine.
