Exhaust gas after-treatment with sequential supercharging
DRIVE
January 25, 2006
The exhaust gas treatment system is for an internal combustion engine (1) with several cylinders (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6), the exhaust gases from which can be connected to at least two exhaust gas flows (5, 6). These flows can be connected by a connection (7). Two exhaust superchargers (8, 9) are driven by these flows to compressed fresh air for the engine to charging pressure.
