Vehicle with a trunk lid

The motor vehicle has a roof part (4) that can be stowed underneath a rear flap (3) that can be opened to expose a loading opening (6) for luggage or a passage for the roof part. For the latter case a first joint arrangement is provided near a rear terminating edge of the rear flap. The rear flap is joined to a cross-support (10) in its upper and/or forward end region (9) that moves with it when opening to expose the roof part passage and is held on the body when opening to expose the luggage opening.
