Gas flow distributor for a lateral airbag module

The gas guiding device for a side airbag module for the distribution of a gas flow emerging from a gas generator (1) has a dimensionally stable impingement element (3) on the gas generator in the region of the gas outlet openings in such a way that at least one gas guiding passage (100) for the direction of the gas flow extends between the impingement element and gas generator. The gas guiding passage extends in the main between the outer side of the gas generator and the inner side of the impingement element. An independent claim is included for a side airbag module with the proposed gas-guiding device.
