Driver information system with rotatable operating panel

The driver information system (1) has a front cap (3) forming the front view of the information system, whereby a part of the front cap is formed by a rotatably mounted operating element strip (5) which has operating elements to operate the driver information system. The operating strip has at least two groups of operating elements and is rotatable in at least two locked positions. In at least two of the locked positions one of the operating element groups is part of the front view of the driver information system.
