Sway control brake for trailers

The trailer (1) can be fitted with a v-shaped towing unit (3) joined to the vehicle with a ball and socket connection. An anti-roll unit (13) assembled of the brake rods and at least one operating cable joined to the rods with a swingle tree is attached to the axle (8) of the trailer (1). The lateral motion of the trailer (1) is monitored by a sensor element and suppressed by an electrically operated control unit designed as a pulling or pushing rod attached to the center of the brake impulse transmitting device.
