Cabriolet vehicle

The vehicle (1) has a removable roof area (2) assembled of two or more segments (2a, 2b) to be folded on top of each other and stored in the rear space (6) of the car (1). The space (6) is covered by a lid (8) lifted at the front edge for the process of storing. The cover for the space between the lid (8) and the backrests of the seats is also lifted by a separate mechanism (12) and pulled back by a swivel mounted holding element after all parts (2a, 2b) are accommodated as required.
