Flap arrangement for the intake system of an engine

The system has a flange area with an inlet channel (14), and a flap arrangement for opening and closing the channel. The arrangement comprises flaps arranged on an actuating shaft (15) such that the flaps open or close the channel when the shaft is operated. The shaft is integrated into the flange area of the system and bearingly supported by a bearing unit (16) provided in the flange area.
