Imaging system

The system has a color camera (2,2A) with a color-sensitive image sensor and a control arrangement for the white balance of the color camera. The white balance of the color camera can be controlled depending on the operating parameters of the vehicle (20) and/or on the ambient conditions in the vehicle's surroundings.
