Airbag for vehicle

Airbag set for a motor vehicle comprises an inflatable airbag (50) which is located next to a vehicle occupant (130) at his/her side oriented towards the vehicle interior. An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting vehicle occupants in the case of an accident.
