DRIVE
October 26, 2005
The rear axle unit is assembled of a stationary axle (10) with a differential positioned in its center, a bearing unit (11) for supporting the vehicle against lateral forces (Fsa, Fsi) joined with one end to the lower body (43), and two longitudinally positioned suspension arms (27a, 27b) joined with rubber bearings (28a, 28b) to the axle (10). At least one of the suspension arms (27a, 27b) is fitted with an elastic element at the opposite bearing in order to compensate lateral forces (Fsa, Fsi).
