Leaf sprung rear axle suspension for vehicles

Leaf-spring-mounted rear axle suspension (1) for vehicles, especially light-weight utility vehicles, comprises front-end supports (10, 11) with transverse flexibility and rearward supports (12, 13) with transverse rigidity. Under lateral force (S) a center of motion (17) for the axle suspension which lies behind the center of the axle (16) is determined via the front-end supports and the rearward supports of a leaf spring (4, 5). Preferred Features: The center of motion lies behind the region of the rearward supports.
