Built-in apparatus

The device has a front frame (12) into which a reading lamp (20) is integrated. The reading lamp produces a light field sideways and below. A switching device switches off the lamp when it is plunged into the front frame and switches on the lamp when it is moved out from the plunged-in position. The reading lamp is tilted when it is plunged into the front frame in an initial position by a mechanical guide. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle with an electronic mounting device.
