Lens (28) for car PES (20) provides preset illumination pattern from light emitted by light source and reflected by PES reflector. There are two opposite lens surfaces (34,36).At least on first surface (34) are formed regions with different optical stray effect, which are typically formed by hot press transfer from mould. Preferably first surface contains edge region (40) with optical stray effect and adjacent central region (42) with higher stray effect. Independent claims are incldued for headlamp, method for lens manufacture and hot press mould.
