The method involves triggering a clutch moment of a clutch of an automated gear as a function of the slippage and speed of the vehicle when a creep mode is activated. The clutch moment is determined by a control device as a function of predetermined slippage revolution number of the clutch. An independent claim is included for a clutch moment trigger device.
