Aircraft cabin with seat actuator power management system
DRIVE
October 5, 2005
The cabin has seats (14A-14C) including sensors (30, 32, 34) to measure weight, height of trunk and legs length of a passenger. A line (18B) of a data transfer bus transmits information from local units (16A-16B) that are connected to the sensors, to a central power control unit (20). The unit (20) calculates the total available power allocated to each seat, depending upon morphological information of each passenger.
