Vehicle seat for passenger motor vehicle

The seat for a private motor vehicle has a seat structure which via a swinging frame mounted on a seat substructure fixed to the vehicle can move in at least two degrees of freedom. The swinging frame is connected to the seat structure via at least two spring damper pairs (22,23) installed on opposite ends of the swinging frame. The active seat springing system (2) in each regulated degree of freedom (z,alpha ) has a displacement transducer (27) to record the relative position of the swinging frame (21) and seat substructure (15).
