Turbo set

The invention relates to a turbo-set (1) with a steam turbine (2), a generator (3) coupled to the steam turbine (2) and a frequency converter (4). The frequency converter (4) converts alternating current with any frequency into an alternating current with a specified frequency. The frequency converter (4) is connected to one output terminal of the generator (3) with any frequency. The turbo-set (1) is designed to generate an alternating current with a constant reference frequency, independent of the revolution speed of the steam turbine (2) and the generator (3), where the revolution speed of the steam turbine (2) is largely higher than 60 Hz.
