Combined cycle power plant with start-up frequency converter

The invention relates to a plant (1) comprising a gas turbine and a steam turbine, wherein the gas turbine is started up with a generator (2) via a start-up converter (10) and after start-up acts as a load for the steam turbine via the generator (3), thus shortening the warm-up time.
