Device for protection and storage for a windshield wiper of a vehicle in inactive state

The device has a tilting flap (9) swiveling between a position where it extends in front of an opening of housing (10) and a position where it is placed parallel to a rain gutter. The flap is subjected to action of a spring (20) for being maintained in one of the two positions. The flap has a steady arm (12) on which a windshield wiper blade (4), placed in the housing, acts against the spring to move the flap from one to other position.
