A control device for a vehicle opening/closing body includes an electronic control unit configured to measure a position of an opening/closing body of a vehicle, measure a speed of the opening/closing body, determine an opening/closing direction in which the opening/closing body is operated, and operate the opening/closing body in the determined opening/closing direction with use of a drive unit when the speed of the opening/closing body measured at the measured position of the opening/closing body is equal to or higher than a speed threshold at the measured position.
