Method for manufacturing a shading device for motor vehicle, shading device and corresponding motor vehicle

The procedure uses three or more layers of material (10, 11, 12) of which at least one hardens when a given stress, such as heat or pressure, is applied to it, and by applying that stress selectively the blind is given zones (11a, 11b) with different levels of rigidity. The stress is applied by a roller (13) during the assembly stage of the blind's different layers, e.g. by a series of heating zones (13a) extending along the length of the roller which act on a thermo-setting material in the blind to give it lengthwise or transverse rigid zones (11a). The other layers can include an opaque layer, a Jersey layer that matches the vehicle's interior trim, and an outer reflective layer of aluminium or similar.
