Catalytic coating of structured heat exchangers

Production of a coated structured heat exchanger sheet comprises continuously or discontinuously applying a catalytic component in at least one layer using a pressure in the recesses and/or sides of the sheet. Preferred Features: The catalytic component is applied in zones and contains a catalytically active material component and/or a water-repelling material component. The catalytically active material component is a ceramic and/or polymeric binder. The concentration of the catalytically active material component is varied over the length of the heat exchanger sheet. The heat exchanger sheet is heated while applying the catalytic component.
