Starter controller for vehicles

A starter controller for preventing a starter motor (16) from being driven when a steering device is locked. The starter controller supplies the starter motor (16) with power from a power supply (23) when both a starter enablement signal (ST), for enabling the starter motor (16) to be driven, and an unlock signal (UL), for indicating that the steering wheel is unlocked, are received.
