Articulated connection for a rearview mirror

The assembly has a hollow cylinder (5), made of molded plastic material, arranged as an apron coaxially around a trunnion (1) from a peripheral edge of a clamping plate (4) towards an end (1b) of the trunnion. The trunnion is made of molded plastic material. The cylinder has a set of openings (6) having rhombic shape and which defines upper and lower rings (8, 9) connected by two helical bands (7).
