Battery charger comprising a direct converter
DRIVE
August 3, 2005
Battery-charging device has a direct voltage changer (DVC) that links to the mains and converts mains alternating or rotary/three-phase current into an alternating or rotary/three-phase current of a higher frequency. The DVC links directly to a transformer (12), whose secondary winding feeds a current redresser (14).
