Trailer coupling

The device (30) is designed as a ball element (36) to be joined to the towing unit located at the trailer and is positioned at the tip of a curved shaft (32). The opposite end is held by a bearing element (20) positioned in the space (18) behind the rear bumper (16). The bearing element (20) comprises an integrated housing accommodating a component engaging with a bearing component and sliding into a locking position using a spring supported locking element in order to fix the unit (30) in a resting or working position.
