The gas generator has signal emitters (22,24) that are stimulated by one of electromagnetic exciter field or magnetic field impulse applied from exterior, for emitting signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) gas bag module; and (2) method for detecting one of gas bag module and gas generator.
