Gas bag for an airbag module

The airbag module has a one-piece housing (5) forming a cover and contg. a gas bag (6) and a gas generator (7) mounted on a bearer (10). The generator bearer is in the form of a one-piece component of the housing. The gas generator rests at least partly on the bearer and is pivotably attached to the housing. An Independent claim is also included for a gas bag for an airbag module.
