Retractable roof of a convertible

The drop-down roof has a roof section (3) which is held in the closed position by a closure device (32) and a relatively displaced roof panel for closure of an opening (10) in the roof section. The roof section has an operating device (46) operated by a drive unit (45), e.g. a hydraulic cylinder, an electrohydraulic setting drive or an electromechanical drive, for operation of the closure device and the movement mechanism (16) for the roof panel.
