Vehicle driver warning procedure

The method involves vehicle seniors detecting a critical situation, whereby the driver's attention is detected and a warning of a critical situation is output depending on the driver's attention. It involves detecting the operation and/or use of equipment in the vehicle by the driver and determining low driver attention if one of the devices is being used and/or if a defined value of an operating frequency of a device is exceeded. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the inventive method.
