System for controlling vehicle stability using an algorithm for curve modelling

The system has a controller determining two coefficients from a number of pairs of wheel adhesion coefficient and wheel spin, to plot two variation curves. The determination is repeated for each new acquisition of the pairs, as long as a difference between average slopes of the curves, is less than a threshold. A target wheel spin is calculated using the lost pair and a mean algorithm, when the difference exceeds the threshold. One curve passes through the origin and the other does not pass through the origin. The curves include the value of the pairs, and the wheel adhesion coefficient has non-zero value.
