Flexible airbag cover

The flexible flap (1) of an airbag module (6), in particular, for use in motor vehicles is essentially supported by the airbag of the module, and is produced, albeit with a reduced thickness, as a single piece together with the carrier element (2) of the decorative layer (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the proposed flexible flap.
