The windscreen wiper device, especially for a motor vehicle, has a support tube and at least one wiper bearing (16) in which is mounted at least one wiper lever. The wiper bearing has at least one housing (50) in which the support tube is accommodated with mechanical or positive locking. The housing has at least one first section (52) and a second section which are connected to create a clamp fastening between the support tube and the housing.
