Device for improving the visibilities in a motor vehicle

A car sight improvement unit has an imaging unit with infrared source (2) illuminating the surroundings for viewing by a visible light filtered infrared camera (3), display (4), optical sensor (5) and processor (6) sensing oncoming traffic or dazzling so as to control the head lamp dipping (7) and selection of sensor system units (8, 9). Independent claims are included for selection of the viewing and illumination area to match car motion.
