The seat rail for the fastening of seats in commercial aircraft consists of an upper profile element for the fastening of the seats and a lower support element connected to it. The profile element (1) and the support element (2) consist of two different materials. The two elements are interconnected by a homogenous metallurgical bond. The profile element consists of titanium alloy and the support element consists of aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy. At least one of the two elements has a profiling (3,4) in the connecting region. A film type intermediate element (5) is installed between the two elements.
